a really good season. Someone must have told the vines how close they got to being bulldozed when I went temporarily blind last year. The picking went perfectly: lovely weather, everyone in the valley helped, we got the grapes in by 2pm, which left ten hours for the party.
And if the numbers are anything to go by, this is going to be one of the great vintages.
